Art and Antiques are back in Cordoaria Nacional
Promoted by the Portuguese Antiquarian Association (APA), the 15th edition of the Lisbon Art and Antiques Fair will take place between April 22 and 30, at Cordoaria Nacional, bringing together the main representatives of the Antiques and Contemporary Art sector in Portugal. As usual, the event will feature the High Sponsorship of the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and the support of the National Museum of Ancient Art. On April 21st, the Pre-Inauguration Cocktail will be held, which will be attended by the members of the Lisbon Art and Antiques Fair Honor Committee.
More than 20 exhibitors will attend this edition, including antique shops and art galleries, such as Antigo q.b. Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, AR-PAB / Alvaro Roquette - Pedro Aguiar-Branco, D'Orey Tiles and Antiques, Marlin 1985, São Mamede Gallery, Helder Tailor, Isabel Lopes da Silva, J. Baptista, José Sanina Antiquario, Manuel Castilho, Manuela Lily, Microart Gallery, Miguel Arruda Antiques, China Porcelain, Ricardo Hogan Antiques, Time Route - John Ramada, San Roque, Zarco Antiques. Portuguese exhibitors will be joined by five international galleries, including: Spanish Beatriz Balgoma, Guilhem Montagut, Joyas Antigas Sardinero and Caretto Cartategui Fine Art; and the Philippe Mendes Gallery of Paris.
Considered to be the country's premier antiques and contemporary art event, the Lisbon Arts and Antiques Fair will provide visitors with other parallel cultural activities. On April 22, at 7.30 pm, a lecture will take place about the Dutch painter Jheronymus Bosch, author of the book "The Temptations of St. Anthony", an image illustrating this year's edition, presented by Joaquim Caetano, from the National Museum of Ancient Art. . During the event, the Ricardo Espírito Santo Silva Foundation will have a demonstration space for Conservation and Restoration services and dissemination of technical arts and crafts courses.
Completing the whole experience of the Fair, visitors can also visit the author restaurant that this year will be in charge of Chef Francisco Amado, which promises to provide true dining experiences. Horta Osório Wines wines, produced in the Douro Demarcated Region, will also complete the dining experience with daily wine tasting.
