We started our antiquarian business more than forty years ago in London. Currently in Lisbon at Rua D Pedro V Nº 85, since 2000, we have exhibited in an extensive gallery an eclectic ensemble, unusual in the Portuguese panorama, mainly non-European art, mostly Asian pieces originating from India, Southeast Asia and China, and we fell in love. us for art as diverse as African and Polynesian tribal sculpture, Australian Aboriginal paintings, Ethiopian icons and crosses, and more.
We research and study the pieces we acquire and regularly publish well-illustrated and documented catalogs covering topics. specialized and under-advertised items such as Cambodian Khmer ceramics, Ethiopian crosses and icons, and 16th- and 17th-century Azorean incised furnishing furniture.
Our members, selected for their professional integrity and quality of articles, have the knowledge that makes them specialists in their field, promoting confidence in the purchase of art and antiques.
As a result of this relationship of trust and knowledge, many of our associate members have, over the years, helped to build important private collections and to consolidate museum collections.
